पृष्ठतो$नुगमिष्यामि समेषु विषमेषु च । त्वामहं नरशार्दूल गच्छन्तमनिवर्तितुम्‌,नरश्रेष्ठ आप जहाँ कभी न लौटनेके लिये गये हैं, वहाँका मार्ग समतल हो या विषम, मैं आपके पीछे-पीछे अवश्य चली चलूँगी

pṛṣṭhato'nugamiṣyāmi sameṣu viṣameṣu ca | tvām ahaṃ naraśārdūla gacchantam anivartitum ||

ไม่ว่าหนทางจะราบเรียบหรือขรุขระ—โอ้ผู้เป็นพยัคฆ์ท่ามกลางมนุษย์! เมื่อท่านก้าวไปโดยไม่หวนกลับสู่ที่เดิม ข้าก็จักติดตามท่านไปเบื้องหลังแน่นอน
