सुगुप्तेषु च देशेषु रक्षा चैव विधीयताम्‌ शीताभिरद्धिरष्ठीलामिमां च परिषेचय,फिर अत्यन्त गुप्त स्थानोंमें रखकर उनकी रक्षा की भी पूरी व्यवस्था करो। इस मांसपिण्डको ठंडे जलसे सींचो

suguptēṣu ca dēśēṣu rakṣā caiva vidhīyatām | śītābhir adbhiḥ aṣṭhīlām imāṁ ca pariṣēcaya ||

วยาสกล่าวว่า “จงจัดการคุ้มกันให้รัดกุม และเก็บไว้ในสถานที่ที่ปกปิดอย่างยิ่ง; และก้อนเนื้อนี้—ตัวอ่อนนี้—พึงพรมน้ำเย็น”
