सत्यवादी शमपरस्तपस्वी दग्धकिल्बिष: । समुत्पन्न: स तु महान् सह पित्रा ततो गतः,“वे सत्यवादी, शान्त, तपस्वी और पापशान्य हैं। वे उत्पन्न होते ही बड़े होकर उस द्वीपसे अपने पिताके साथ चले गये थे
satyavādī śamaparaḥ tapasvī dagdhakilbiṣaḥ | samutpannaḥ sa tu mahān saha pitrā tato gataḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—เขาเป็นผู้กล่าวความจริง ตั้งมั่นในความสงบ เป็นตบัสวี และบาปทั้งปวงถูกเผาผลาญแล้ว ครั้นบังเกิดไม่นานก็เจริญถึงความยิ่งใหญ่ แล้วจากสถานที่นั้นไปพร้อมบิดา
