लाघवं तस्‍्य ते दृष्टवा समरे सर्वपार्थिवा: । अपूजयन्त संद्वष्टा वाग्भि: शाल्वं नराधिपम्‌,युद्धमें उसकी फुर्ती देख सब राजा बड़े प्रसन्न हुए और अपनी वाणीद्वारा शाल्वनरेशकी प्रशंसा करने लगे

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

lāghavaṁ tasya te dṛṣṭvā samare sarvapārthivāḥ |

apūjayan saṁdṛṣṭā vāgbhiḥ śālvaṁ narādhipam ||

Translation

เมื่อเห็นความว่องไวของเขาในสนามรบ เหล่ากษัตริย์ทั้งปวงก็ยินดีนัก; ครั้นได้ประจักษ์แล้ว ต่างยกย่องศาลวะผู้เป็นนราธิป ด้วยถ้อยคำสรรเสริญ
