सुराणां सम्मतो नित्यमसुराणां च भारत । उशना वेद यच्छास्त्रमयं तद् वेद सर्वश:,भारत! देवता और असुर भी इसका सदा सम्मान करते हैं। शुक्राचार्य जिस (नीति) शास्त्रको जानते हैं, उसका यह भी पूर्णरूपसे जानकार है
surāṇāṁ sammato nityam asurāṇāṁ ca bhārata | uśanā veda yacchāstramayaṁ tad veda sarvaśaḥ ||
โอ้ภารตะ เขาได้รับความนับถืออยู่เสมอทั้งจากเหล่าเทวะและอสูร ศาสตร์แห่งนโยบายและความประพฤติที่อุศนา (ศุกราจารย์) รู้ เขาก็รู้ครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ทุกส่วน
