Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the value of investigation and discernment: when confronted with an alarming sign, the wise do not panic but seek its true cause, discovering that what seemed ominous may arise from skill, discipline, or a hidden context.

The narrator says that a great-souled person, trying to find the reason behind a perceived sign or disturbance, looks ahead and sees a striking, well-formed youth—tall and impressive—thereby identifying the source behind the observed ‘nimitta’.
