शशास शिष्यमासीनं वैशम्पायनमन्तिके । ससदस्यै: सहासीन: श्रावयामास भारतम्‌

śaśāsa śiṣyam āsīnaṃ vaiśampāyanam antike | sa-sadasyaiḥ sahāsīnaḥ śrāvayāmāsa bhāratam ||

เมื่อประทับนั่งร่วมกับสภาที่ชุมนุมกัน เขาได้สั่งศิษย์ไวศัมปายนะซึ่งนั่งอยู่ใกล้ ให้สาธยาย ‘ภารตะ’—ดังนั้นประวัติศักดิ์สิทธิ์จึงถูกนำเสนอแก่ผู้ฟังทั้งหลายอย่างเป็นระเบียบและทรงอำนาจ
