अरणीपर्वरूपाढ्यो विराटोद्योगसारवान्‌ | भीष्मपर्वमहाशाखो द्रोणपर्वपलाशवान्‌,अरणीपर्व इस वृक्षका ग्रन्थिस्थल है। विराट और उद्योगपर्व इसका सारभाग है। भीष्मपर्व इसकी बड़ी शाखा है और द्रोणपर्व इसके पत्ते हैं

araṇīparvarūpāḍhyo virāṭodyogasāravān | bhīṣmaparvamahāśākho droṇaparvapalāśavān |
