देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

जपेन्नाम्नां सहस्रं च स याति परमां गतिम्

japennāmnāṃ sahasraṃ ca sa yāti paramāṃ gatim

ผู้ใดสวดภาวนาชปะพระนามพันประการของพระศิวะ ผู้นั้นย่อมพ้นจากบ่วงปาศะ และบรรลุคติสูงสุด คือสหภาพ (สายุชยะ) กับปติ พระเป็นเจ้าเหนือพันธนาการทั้งปวง।
