FAQs

It frames Linga-bhakti as śaraṇāgati (refuge): the devotee, as pashu, seeks the protecting grace of Pati (Hara) to remove upasargas and restore auspiciousness for worship.

Shiva is invoked as Gaṇādhipa and Ekādaśātman—one Lord manifesting as the eleven Rudra-aspects—yet personally present (rūpavān) and actively abiding to protect beings from pasha-driven suffering.

Upasarga-śānti through Rudra-smaraṇa: a protective invocation aligned with Pāśupata orientation—turning the mind from fear to devotion, requesting Shiva’s anugraha (grace) to cut bonds and obstacles.
