Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय

संध्यालोपे कृते विप्रः त्रिरावृत्त्यैव शुध्यति आह्निकच्छेदने जाते शतमेकमुदाहृतम्

saṃdhyālope kṛte vipraḥ trirāvṛttyaiva śudhyati āhnikacchedane jāte śatamekamudāhṛtam

หากพราหมณ์ละเลยพิธีสันธยา ย่อมบริสุทธิ์ได้ด้วยการสวดซ้ำสามรอบ แต่ถ้ากิจวัตรประจำวัน (อาหฺนิกะ) ขาดตอน กำหนดการชดใช้ด้วยการสวดชปะหนึ่งร้อยครั้ง
