Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva-puja injunctions to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It links Linga/Śiva-pūjā to concrete acts of dharma: offering ghee in worship and completing the rite through dāna—feeding brāhmaṇas and Śiva-bhaktas—so the pūjā becomes both devotional and socially sanctifying.
Śaṅkara is approached as Pati—the sanctifying Lord—who is pleased not only by ritual substances (like ghee) but also by compassionate service to the pure-hearted devotees, indicating that devotion and purity are integral to realizing Shiva-tattva.
A Pūrṇimā observance within Śiva-pūjā-vidhi: ghee-offering worship followed by annadāna (feeding), emphasizing śauca (purity) and bhakti as practical supports for loosening pāśa (bondage) of the paśu (soul) under the grace of Pati (Śiva).
