व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

सत्यवादी जितक्रोधः शालिगोधूमगोरसैः पक्षयोरष्टमीं यत्नाद् उपवासेन वर्तयेत्

satyavādī jitakrodhaḥ śāligodhūmagorasaiḥ pakṣayoraṣṭamīṃ yatnād upavāsena vartayet

ผู้ภักดีพึงเป็นผู้กล่าวสัจจะ ชนะโทสะ และดำรงชีพด้วยข้าวสาลี (ข้าวสารดี), ข้าวสาลี/ข้าวสาลี (godhūma) และโครรสะ (น้ำนมเป็นต้น) เท่านั้น แล้วพึงรักษาอัษฏมีของทั้งสองปักษ์ด้วยการอุโบสถอย่างเพียรพยายาม
