Suta Goswami (narrating a Śiva-arcana prayer within the Purva-bhāga context)
It frames Śiva-arcana as a purifier of mala (inner and outer impurity) and aligns planetary influences (grahas) to become supportive rather than obstructive to Linga-pūjā.
Śiva-tattva is implied as the supreme purifying principle (Pati) whose worship empowers even cosmic regulators like the grahas to remove pasha-like obstacles (defilements) from the pashu (individual soul).
A śānti-prayoga within Śiva-pūjā: reciting a purification prayer that integrates graha-śānti with devotion to Śiva, preparing the sādhaka for steadier worship and inner clarity.
