यस् त्यजेद् दुस्त्यजान् प्राणाञ् शिवसायुज्यम् आप्नुयात् स्वायंभुवस्य मानं हि तथा बाणस्य सुव्रताः

yas tyajed dustyajān prāṇāñ śivasāyujyam āpnuyāt svāyaṃbhuvasya mānaṃ hi tathā bāṇasya suvratāḥ

ผู้ใดสละแม้ลมหายใจอันละได้ยากยิ่ง ผู้นั้นย่อมบรรลุศิวสายุชยะ—ความเป็นหนึ่งกับพระศิวะ. โอผู้มีวัตรอันประเสริฐ เขาย่อมได้เกียรติเทียบเท่าสวายัมภูวะ (พรหมา) และได้ศักดิ์ศรีดุจบาณด้วย
