Shloka 34

वंशानुवर्णनम् — सात्वतवंशः, स्यमन्तक-प्रसङ्गः, कृष्णावतारः, शिवप्रसादः (पाशुपतयोगः)

तस्यासीत् तुम्बुरुसखो विद्वान्पुत्रो नलः किल ख्यायते स सुनाम्ना तु चन्दनानकदुन्दुभिः

tasyāsīt tumburusakho vidvānputro nalaḥ kila khyāyate sa sunāmnā tu candanānakadundubhiḥ

เขามีบุตรผู้รอบรู้ชื่อ นละ เป็นที่เลื่องลือว่าเป็นสหายของตุัมบุรุ และด้วยนามอันงดงาม เขาจึงเป็นที่รู้จักว่า ‘จันทนานก-ทุณฑุภิ’ ดุจเสียงกลองทิพย์ที่กังวานพร้อมกลิ่นจันทน์.
