It situates Shiva-bhakti and Linga-dharma within a remembered royal lineage (vaṁśa), showing how Dharma-bearing dynasties preserve the conditions for Linga-puja across generations.
Indirectly: by emphasizing orderly succession and स्मृति (authoritative remembrance), it reflects Shiva as Pati—the stabilizing ground of cosmic order—within which pashus (souls) move through embodied lineages under pasha (bondage) until liberation.
No specific puja-vidhi or Pashupata Yoga limb is stated; the takeaway is the Purana’s dharmic framework—lineage, memory, and righteous rule—as supportive prerequisites for sustained Shiva-puja.
