FAQs

It frames all cosmic posts as temporary across Manvantaras; Linga-worship orients the Pashu toward Pati (Shiva) who transcends offices, reducing attachment to status (sthāna-abhimāna).

By implication, Shiva-tattva is the stable ground beyond changing Manvantara administrations; presiding beings rotate through stations, while the Lord as Pati remains the enduring refuge.

A key Pāśupata takeaway is vairāgya from roles and honors (sthāna-abhimāna) while maintaining dharma; in puja, one offers all positions and fruits into the Linga as surrender to Pati.
