भुवनकोशविन्यासनिर्णयः (ज्योतिर्गति-वृष्टिचक्र-वर्णनम्)

प्राणा वै जगतामापो भूतानि भुवनानि च बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन चराचरमिदं जगत्

prāṇā vai jagatāmāpo bhūtāni bhuvanāni ca bahunātra kimuktena carācaramidaṃ jagat

ปราณะคือหลักค้ำจุนแห่งโลกทั้งปวง—ทั้งน้ำ สรรพสัตว์ และภูมิทั้งหลายล้วนตั้งอยู่ด้วยปราณะนั้น จะกล่าวมากไปไย? จักรวาลทั้งที่เคลื่อนไหวและนิ่งสงบดำรงอยู่ด้วยปราณะ และปราณะนั้นย่อมอยู่ใต้บังคับแห่งปติ พระศิวะผู้เป็นอันตรยามีในชีวิต.
