भुवनकोशविन्यासनिर्णयः (ज्योतिर्गति-वृष्टिचक्र-वर्णनम्)

विष्णोरौत्तानपादेन चाप्तं तातस्य हेतुना आपः पीतास्तु सूर्येण क्रमन्ते शशिनः क्रमात्

viṣṇorauttānapādena cāptaṃ tātasya hetunā āpaḥ pītāstu sūryeṇa kramante śaśinaḥ kramāt

โดยพระวิษณุ สิ่งนั้นได้มาผ่านอุตตานปาทะเพื่อเหตุแห่งบิดา แม้น้ำจะถูกพระอาทิตย์ดูดดื่มไป ก็ยังดำเนินกลับมาอีกตามลำดับอันกำหนดโดยพระจันทร์—ดังนี้จังหวะแห่งจักรวาลจึงดำรงอยู่ภายใต้การอภิบาลของพระปติ
