दक्षयज्ञध्वंसः—वीरभद्रप्रेषणं, देवविष्ण्वोः पराजयः, पुनरनुग्रहः

तुष्टाव देवदेवेशं शङ्करं वृषभध्वजम् स्तुतस्तेन महातेजाः प्रदाय विविधान्वरान्

tuṣṭāva devadeveśaṃ śaṅkaraṃ vṛṣabhadhvajam stutastena mahātejāḥ pradāya vividhānvarān

เขาสรรเสริญพระศังกร ผู้เป็นจอมแห่งเทพทั้งหลาย ผู้มีธงเป็นโค เมื่อทรงพอพระทัยด้วยบทสรรเสริญนั้น พระผู้รุ่งเรืองยิ่งจึงประทานพรนานาประการ—ด้วยพระกรุณาของพระปติศิวะ ปาศะ (พันธนาการ) ของปศุ (ดวงชีพ) ย่อมคลายและหลุดพ้น
