नैमिषारण्ये सूतागमनम् — लिङ्गमाहात्म्यभूमिका तथा शब्दब्रह्म-ओङ्कार-लिङ्गतत्त्वम्

पुराणसंहितां पुण्यां लिङ्गमाहात्म्यसंयुताम् नैमिषेया ऊचुः त्वया सूत महाबुद्धे कृष्णद्वैपायनो मुनिः

purāṇasaṃhitāṃ puṇyāṃ liṅgamāhātmyasaṃyutām naimiṣeyā ūcuḥ tvayā sūta mahābuddhe kṛṣṇadvaipāyano muniḥ

เหล่าฤๅษีแห่งไนมิษารัณยะกล่าวว่า “โอ้สูตผู้มีปัญญายิ่ง คัมภีร์ปุราณะอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ซึ่งประกอบด้วยมหิมาแห่งลิงคะนั้น ท่านได้รับถ่ายทอดจากมุนีกฤษณทไวปายนะ (วยาสะ) แล้ว”
