kārtike māsi deveśamarcayet pārvatīpatim / aśvamedhād daśaguṇaṃ pravadanti manīṣiṇaḥ

ในเดือนการ์ติกะ พึงบูชาเทวेशะ คือพระศิวะผู้เป็นสวามีแห่งพระปารวตี บัณฑิตกล่าวว่า บุญกุศลนั้นมากกว่าอัศวเมธะถึงสิบเท่า
