Narmadā–Tīrtha-Māhātmya: Sequence of Sacred Fords and Their Fruits

ततो गच्छेत राजेन्द्र इक्षुनद्यास्तु संगमम् / त्रैलोक्यविश्रुतं पुण्यं तत्र सन्निहितः शिवः / तत्र स्तनात्वा नरो राजन् गाणपत्यमवाप्नुयात्

ต่อจากนั้น โอ้ราชาเอก! พึงไปยังสังฆมแห่งแม่น้ำอิกษุ อันเป็นสถานที่บุญกุศลเลื่องลือในไตรโลก ที่นั่นพระศิวะสถิตใกล้ชิดเป็นพิเศษ; ผู้ใดอาบน้ำ ณ ที่นั้น โอ้ราชัน ย่อมบรรลุฐานะคณปติ คือความเป็นผู้นำหมู่คณะของพระศิวะ
