Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas: Liquor, Theft, Sexual Transgression, Contact with the Fallen, and Homicide

भ्रातृभार्यां समारुह्य कुर्यात् तत्पापशान्तये / चान्द्रायणानि चत्वारि पञ्च वा सुसमाहितः

bhrātṛbhāryāṃ samāruhya kuryāt tatpāpaśāntaye / cāndrāyaṇāni catvāri pañca vā susamāhitaḥ

หากผู้ใดล่วงละเมิดภรรยาของพี่น้องชาย เพื่อบรรเทาบาปนั้นพึงตั้งจิตมั่นและประกอบวัตร ‘จันทรายนะ’ สี่ครั้ง—หรือห้าครั้งก็ได้
