ในกรณีปักษิณี (เหตุเกี่ยวกับนก) ทั้งในความเกี่ยวเนื่องทางกำเนิดและในหมู่ญาติ กำหนดอศौจหนึ่งคืน และสำหรับครู (คุรุ) กับสหพรหมจาริน ก็ประกาศว่าเป็นหนึ่งคืนเช่นกัน
