एक एव चरेद्भ‍िक्षुरात्मारामोऽनपाश्रय: । सर्वभूतसुहृच्छान्तो नारायणपरायण: ॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration

eka eva cared bhikṣur ātmārāmo ’napāśrayaḥ sarva-bhūta-suhṛc-chānto nārāyaṇa-parāyaṇaḥ

Translation

ภิกษุสันยาสีควรจาริกเพียงลำพัง พอใจในอาตมัน ไม่พึ่งพาผู้ใดหรือสถานที่ใด เป็นมิตรผู้ปรารถนาดีต่อสรรพชีวิต สงบ และเป็นภักตะผู้มอบตนแด่นารายณะอย่างบริสุทธิ์ ดำรงชีพด้วยบิณฑบาตตามเรือนต่าง ๆ
