สุคนยาเล่าให้บิดาฟังทั้งหมดว่า สามีของนางได้กายหนุ่มงามมาอย่างไร เมื่อกษัตริย์ได้ยินก็ประหลาดใจยิ่งนักและปลื้มปีติอย่างยิ่ง แล้วกอดบุตรสาวอันเป็นที่รักไว้แนบอก
