The Disappearance of the Yadu Dynasty and Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Departure
svaṁ svaṁ parigrahaṁ sarve ādāya pitarau ca naḥ arjunenāvitāḥ sarva indraprasthaṁ gamiṣyatha
This verse shows Kṛṣṇa arranging practical protection for His family by directing them to travel with Arjuna’s guardianship, indicating the Lord’s care continues through His devotees and divine plan.
In the context of Kṛṣṇa’s impending departure and the upheaval at Dvārakā, He instructs His relatives to relocate safely; Arjuna, as a trusted devotee and powerful protector, would escort them to Indraprastha.
Bhakti includes responsible action—protecting dependents, honoring elders, and making wise, dharmic arrangements during uncertain times while trusting the Lord’s guidance.
