दूत उवाच इति मागधसंरुद्धा भवद्दर्शनकाङ्‍‍क्षिण: । प्रपन्ना: पादमूलं ते दीनानां शं विधीयताम् ॥ ३१ ॥

dūta uvāca iti māgadha-saṁruddhā bhavad-darśana-kaṅkṣiṇaḥ prapannāḥ pāda-mūlaṁ te dīnānāṁ śaṁ vidhīyatām

ทูตกล่าวว่า: นี่คือสารของบรรดากษัตริย์ที่ถูกกษัตริย์แห่งมคธกักขัง ผู้ปรารถนาจะได้เฝ้าพระองค์ และได้มอบตน ณ เบื้องพระบาทของพระองค์แล้ว ขอทรงประทานความเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ผู้ยากไร้เหล่านี้เถิด
