FAQs

In Canto 10, Chapter 47, the gopīs—burning in separation from Kṛṣṇa—address a bumblebee as if it were His messenger; their words reveal the highest intensity of prema-bhakti in viraha.

Overwhelmed by remembrance of meeting Kṛṣṇa, she projects her longing onto the bee, imagining it as a dūta (messenger) sent by her beloved, and begins speaking to it from the depth of separation.

It teaches focused remembrance: even ordinary sights can become prompts for sādhana when one trains the mind to turn naturally toward Kṛṣṇa through longing, prayer, and constant meditation.
