Kṛṣṇa Comforts His Parents, Restores Ugrasena, Studies with Sāndīpani, and Returns the Guru’s Son
atha śūra-suto rājan putrayoḥ samakārayat purodhasā brāhmaṇaiś ca yathāvad dvija-saṁskṛtim
This verse shows that proper saṁskāras should be performed according to scriptural rule, with the guidance of the family priest and qualified brāhmaṇas.
As part of dharma and Vedic culture, Vasudeva ensured the traditional rites were properly performed for his sons through authorized priests, establishing their formal brahminical education-eligibility and social-religious duties.
Seek qualified guidance, follow time-tested spiritual disciplines with sincerity, and honor sacred milestones with devotion and integrity rather than mere social display.
