The Gopīs Glorify the Song of Kṛṣṇa’s Flute

Veṇu-gīta

गा गोपकैरनुवनं नयतोरुदार- वेणुस्वनै: कलपदैस्तनुभृत्सु सख्य: । अस्पन्दनं गतिमतां पुलकस्तरुणां निर्योगपाशकृतलक्षणयोर्विचित्रम् ॥ १९ ॥

สหายเอ๋ย เมื่อพระกฤษณะและพระพลรามเสด็จผ่านป่าพร้อมสหายคนเลี้ยงวัว ต้อนฝูงโคไปตามพงไพร เสียงขลุ่ยอันอ่อนหวานและสูงส่งทำให้สรรพชีวิตที่เคลื่อนไหวถึงกับนิ่งงัน และต้นไม้ที่ไม่เคลื่อนก็สั่นด้วยขนลุกแห่งปีติ อีกทั้งเชือกที่ทรงพกไว้เพื่อผูกขาหลังวัวเวลารีดนม—ช่างน่าอัศจรรย์ยิ่งนัก
