FAQs

This verse describes the demon’s life-air being trapped and bursting out through the crown of the head after Kṛṣṇa blocks his passage—showing that even a gigantic asura is effortlessly subdued by Kṛṣṇa’s supreme power.

It graphically conveys the demon’s death: with no outlet and his movement obstructed, the internal air becomes unbearable and breaks out through the crown, emphasizing the complete and final defeat of the asura.

When obstacles feel overwhelming, this līlā reminds devotees that Kṛṣṇa can stop what threatens them at the root; steadiness in bhakti replaces fear with trust in divine protection.
