उत्तमस्त्वकृतोद्वाहो मृगयायां बलीयसा । हत: पुण्यजनेनाद्रौ तन्मातास्य गतिं गता ॥ ३ ॥
uttamas tv akṛtodvāho mṛgayāyāṁ balīyasā hataḥ puṇya-janenādrau tan-mātāsya gatiṁ gatā
อุตตมะ น้องชายของธรุวมหาราช ซึ่งยังมิได้อภิเษก ครั้งหนึ่งออกล่าสัตว์และถูกยักษ์ผู้มีกำลังสังหาร ณ เทือกเขาหิมาลัย มารดาของเขา สุรุจิ ก็ได้ติดตามเส้นทางของบุตร (สิ้นชีพ) ไปด้วย
