छन्दःपक्षे उषसा पेपिशाने समानं योनिमनु सं चरेमे । सूर्यपत्नी सं चरतः प्रजानती केतुमती अजरे भूरिरेतसा

IAST Transliteration

chándaḥpakṣe uṣásā pepiśāné samānáṃ yónim ánu sáṃ careme | sū́ryapatnī sáṃ carataḥ prajānátī ketúmatī ajáre bhū́riretasā

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

On the wing of Metre, with Dawn waxing full, let us together follow unto the self-same womb. The Sun’s Consort—together they move—bringing forth, radiant-bannered, unaging, of abundant generative might.

บนปีกแห่งฉันท์ (Chandas) เมื่ออุษา (Uṣas) กำลังทวีเต็มเปี่ยม ขอให้เราร่วมกันดำเนินตามไปสู่ครรภ์เดียวกัน (yoni). คู่ครองแห่งสุริยะเคลื่อนไปด้วยกัน รู้แจ้งและให้กำเนิด; มีธงสัญญาณอันรุ่งเรือง ไม่รู้ชรา มีพลังแห่งการก่อกำเนิดอันอุดม.
