Sukta 7
अ॒र॒सं प्रा॒च्यंऽवि॒षम॑र॒सं यदु॑दी॒च्यऽम्। अथे॒दम॑धरा॒च्यं॑ कर॒म्भेण॒ वि क॑ल्पते
arásaṃ prā́cyaṃ ’víṣam arásaṃ yád udī́cyaṃ | áthédám adharā́cyaṃ karambhéṇa ví kalpate
Sapless is the eastern portion, harmless and sapless that which is the northern: then this southern share is duly ordered and made ready with karambha-gruel.
ส่วนทิศตะวันออกไร้น้ำเลี้ยงไร้กำลัง; ส่วนทิศเหนือก็ไร้พิษภัยและไร้น้ำเลี้ยง. แล้วส่วนทิศใต้นี้จึงถูกจัดให้ถูกต้องและเตรียมพร้อมด้วยข้าวต้มคะรัมภะ (karambha).
