अपूपवान् मांसवांश्चरुरेह सीदतु । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

apūpavā́n māṁsavā́ṁś carúr eha sī́datu | lokakŕ̥taḥ pathikŕ̥to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṁ hutabhā́gā ihá stha ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Let the cooked oblation, furnished with cake and bearing meat, sit down here. We sacrifice unto the World-makers, the Path-makers—those who, of the Gods, possess a share in the offered gift—be ye here present.

Translation

ขอให้เครื่องบูชาที่หุงสุก (caru) อันประกอบด้วยขนมบูชา (apūpa) และมีเนื้อ (māṃsa) มานั่ง ณ ที่นี้เถิด. เราบูชาแด่ผู้สร้างโลก ผู้สร้างหนทาง—เหล่าผู้ซึ่งในหมู่เทพได้รับส่วนแห่งของถวาย (huta); ขอท่านทั้งหลายจงสถิตอยู่ที่นี่.
