Sukta 3
ये ते पूर्वे परागता अपरे पितरश्च ये। तेभ्यो घृतस्य कुल्यैऽतु शतधारा व्युन्दती
yé te pū́rve párāgatā́ ápare pitáraś ca yé | tébhyo ghṛtásya kulyā́ etu śatá-dhārā́ vyundatī́ |
To those thy Fathers, the former who have gone afar, and the later who are—unto them let the channel of ghee go forth, a hundred-streamed flood welling and spreading.
บรรดาปิตฤ (บิดาบรรพชน) ของท่าน—ทั้งผู้ก่อนที่ล่วงไปไกลแล้ว และผู้หลังที่ยังมีอยู่—ขอให้รางธารแห่งฆฤตะ (เนยใส, ghṛta) ไหลไปถึงท่านเหล่านั้น เป็นกระแสท่วมร้อยสาย พรั่งพรูแผ่ซ่าน.
