Sukta 17

तस्य॒ व्रात्य॑स्य । योऽस्य प्रथ॒मो व्या॒नः सेयं भूमिः॑

tásya vrā́tyasya | yó ’sya prathamó vyā́nás séyaṃ bhū́miḥ

Of that Vratya: that which is his first—Vyāna, the pervading breath—that is this Earth.

ของวราตยะ (Vratya) นั้น สิ่งที่เป็นลำดับแรกของเขา—วยานะ (Vyāna ลมหายใจที่แผ่ซ่านไปทั่ว)—นั่นแลคือแผ่นดินนี้
