ततो हतपक्षमुपगृह्येतरं निगृह्णीयात् ॥ कZ_०५.१.११ ॥

Transliteration

tato hatapakṣam upagṛhya itaraṃ nigṛhṇīyāt

Translation

Then, having taken in hand (secured) the side that has suffered the loss, he should restrain/suppress the other side.
