Sutra 10

कुपितमूलभिन्नगर्भयोः कुपितमूलं प्रशमितकोपं सामादिभिर्युध्येत न भिन्नगर्भमन्योन्यस्माद्भिन्नम् ॥ कZ_०८.५.१० ॥

kupitamūlabhinnagarbhayoḥ kupitamūlaṃ praśamitakopaṃ sāmādibhir yudhyeta na bhinnagarbham anyonyasmād bhinnam

ระหว่างศัตรูที่ ‘โกรธถึงรากฐาน’ กับศัตรูที่ ‘ความเป็นปึกแผ่นภายในแตกแยก’ ควรรบกับฝ่ายที่โกรธถึงรากฐาน โดยต้องทำให้ความโกรธสงบลงก่อนด้วยการประนีประนอมและมาตรการอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง; ไม่ควรรบกับฝ่ายที่แตกแยกภายใน เพราะส่วนต่าง ๆ ของเขาแยกจากกันอยู่แล้ว
