Transliteration

kanyā hy adāyādā pareṣām evārthāyākleśyā ca

Translation

เพราะบุตรสาวมิใช่ผู้สืบมรดกในสายตระกูลเดิมของตน; นางย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อประโยชน์ของผู้อื่น (ฝ่ายบ้านสามี) และยังอาจถูกทำให้ลำบากได้
