चेतनाचेतनिकं रात्रिदोषमशंसतो नागरिकस्य दोषानुरूपो दण्डः प्रमादस्थाने च ॥ कZ_०२.३६.४२ ॥
Transliteration
cetanācetanikaṃ rātridoṣam aśaṃsato nāgarikasya doṣānurūpo daṇḍaḥ pramādasthāne ca.
Translation
หากความผิดในเวลากลางคืน—ไม่ว่าจะจงใจ (โดยบุคคล) หรือไม่จงใจ/เกิดจากอุบัติเหตุ—ไม่ถูกรายงาน ผู้กำกับดูแลเมือง (นาคาริกะ) ต้องรับโทษตามสัดส่วนของความผิดนั้น; เช่นเดียวกันในกรณีละเลย ณ จุดที่ทราบกันว่าเป็นจุดเสี่ยงต่อความหละหลวม (ประมาทสถาน).
