Sutra 41

कल्याणबुद्धिना संदधीत शठं तथा इति प्रतिगृह्यातिसंदध्यात् इति ॥ कZ_०९.३.४१ ॥

kalyāṇabuddhinā saṃdadhīta śaṭhaṃ tathā iti pratigṛhya ati-saṃdadhyāt iti.

With a posture of benevolent intent, one should enter into an understanding with the deceitful; having accepted (his approach), one should then bind him by a counter-arrangement (over-commit/over-structure the pact) so that he is contained.
