सर्वत्रानुप्रणतः कुलैडक इव निराशो जीविते वसति ॥ कZ_१२.१.०७ ॥
sarvatrānupraṇataḥ kulaiḍaka iva nirāśo jīvite vasati
เขายอมจำนนไปทุกแห่ง—ดุจสุนัขจรจัด—อยู่ไปโดยสิ้นหวังในชีวิต
A ruler who becomes universally submissive loses credibility and autonomy; such a posture invites further coercion and internal demoralization.
Legitimacy weakens when the ruler appears incapable of protecting interests; continuous submission signals inability to defend the realm and encourages defections.
