Related Themes: Agni Purana 94 (Devī-pratiṣṭhā mantras: Jaya, Bhadrā, Rikta sequence)
It gives a pratishtha-prayoga (installation formula) commanding the invoked deity—Jaya/Devī—to remain in the consecrated locus (image/altar/yantra) to confer continual victory and prosperity.
Beyond mythology, the Agni Purana preserves actionable liturgical technology—mantras, installation commands, and purpose-specific invocations (victory/wealth)—showing its coverage of practical temple and household worship systems.
By ritually establishing the deity and requesting stable presence, the practitioner aligns action with dharma through sanctioned worship, seeking siddhi-like results (jaya, bhūti) while accruing merit from proper devotion and consecration.
