Related Themes: Agni Purana 92 (Pūjā-vidhi: kalasha-sthāpana, nyāsa-krama)
It teaches kalasha/kumbha worship using nyāsa-based placement and mantra application, specifying that Indra and related deities’ bīja-syllables are to be employed in a defined upcoming sequence.
By preserving step-by-step liturgical technology—kalasha installation, mantra choice (primary mantras vs. aṅga/auxiliary syllables), and bīja sequencing—it functions like a practical manual within a Purana that also covers many other sciences.
Correct placement (vinyāsa/nyāsa) and mantra-based worship are presented as means to sanctify the ritual space, invoke deities in an orderly manner, and ensure the rite yields purification and intended religious merit (puṇya/siddhi).
