Concept: Tattva-krama (ordered hierarchy of principles) as an inner altar; cognition (buddhi) to mind-stuff (citta) and subtle elements (tanmātras) are to be ritually internalized.

Application: Use as a stepwise meditation script: place attention/mantra from higher inner faculties down to subtle sensory potentials to stabilize concentration before mantra-japa or pūjā.

Khanda Section: Yoga–Tantra (Tattva-nyasa / Bhuta-shuddhi and internal worship)

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

FAQs

It teaches tattva-nyāsa: the ordered internal placement of a threefold tattva schema across layers of the inner instrument (buddhi through citta), coordinated with contemplation (cintā) and the tanmātras.

Beyond myth and dharma, it preserves practical āgamic-yogic technique—mapping metaphysical categories (tattvas, tanmātras) onto an inner ritual procedure (nyāsa), showing the Purana’s coverage of tantric sādhanā and subtle-body theory.

By installing principles inwardly through ordered contemplation, the practitioner ritualizes the mind, purifies subtle perception, and aligns inner faculties with a pervading metaphysical order—supporting concentration and sanctification of consciousness.
