Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Tantra","secondary_vidya":"Mantra","practical_application":"Operational ritual applications (prayoga) after dhyāna of a specific mantric state: śānti-oriented contemplation followed by targeted acts (tāḍana, bheda, praveśa, viyojana) used in protective or coercive rites depending on dharmic constraints.","sutra_style":true}

Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Śānti–Abhicāra Prayoga: Turmyā-avasthā dhyāna and four karmas (Tāḍana, Bheda, Praveśa, Viyojana)","lookup_keywords":["turmyā-avasthā","tāḍana","bheda","praveśa","viyojana"],"quick_summary":"After stabilizing a pacific mantric state and projecting the bhuvana schema, the practitioner proceeds to four operative ritual actions—impulsion, dissension, insertion, and separation—indicating a technical prayoga sequence."}

Concept: Mantra-bhāvana (state-contemplation) precedes karma-prayoga; cosmological projection (bhuvana) functions as the ritual ‘field’ for action.

Application: Treat the sequence as: stabilize śānti (inner stillness) → visualize domain (bhuvana) → apply one chosen karma with strict ethical restraint and ritual safeguards.

Khanda Section: Tantra / Mantra-shastra (Shanti–Abhichara Prayoga: ritual applications)

Primary Rasa: Raudra

Secondary Rasa: Shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A tantric practitioner seated before a maṇḍala, first in calm śānti contemplation, then four sequential panels showing symbolic actions: striking (tāḍana), splitting (bheda), entering (praveśa), separating (viyojana) within a projected cosmic diagram.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural: four-panel narrative around a central maṇḍala—calm dhyāna scene, then symbolic gestures for tāḍana/bheda/praveśa/viyojana, deep reds and indigos, ritual lamps, stylized yantra geometry","tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore: central yantra with gold leaf, surrounding four embossed action-medallions labeled with the karmas, priestly figure in the center, rich ornamentation and sacred implements","mysore_prompt":"Mysore style: instructional sequence illustration—step 1 śānti-bhāvana, step 2 bhuvana projection diagram, steps 3–6 four karmas with clear labels and minimal dramatic elements","mughal_miniature_prompt":"Mughal miniature: esoteric rite in a secluded chamber, detailed maṇḍala on the floor, attendant holding manuscripts, four small vignettes in margins depicting the actions with symbolic motifs"}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"instructional","suggested_raga":"Bhairav","pace":"fast","voice_tone":"instructional"}

Sandhi Resolution Notes:

FAQs

It teaches a sequence of mantra-based visualization (bhāvanā) leading to specific ritual operations: tāḍana (impelling/striking), bheda (creating division), praveśa (ritual entry/insertion), and viyojana (separation), framed within a śānti (pacificatory) state.

It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s coverage of practical mantra-ritual technology—detailing categorized ritual actions and visualization methods alongside other domains (law, polity, medicine, arts), thus functioning as a compendium of applied sacred sciences.

By grounding potent operative rites in a śānti-oriented contemplative state, the verse implies disciplined, intention-governed use of mantra practices—aimed at restoring order or resolving conflicts through regulated ritual means.
